Today, the styles available for various kitchen appliances is so varied
that it can be overwhelming when it comes time to decide what to buy.
You can get a lot of kitchen appliance ideas by searching the web or
visiting an appliance store. Before you buy, there are a few things you
should consider.
Price
Your budget is going to play a big
role in the type of appliances you can buy and will influence your
kitchen appliance ideas. You obviously want to get the best deal for
your money. The best way to do that is get a model or style in mind and
then watch prices for a while and hope for a good deal to come along.
Buying a kitchen appliance on the spur of the moment will cost you a lot
more.
Local stores will have sales, if you wait for one, you may
be able to save a bundle. You can also shop for a quality used
appliance. Even though the appliance probably will not last as long, if
it is in good shape, then you will be able to get the look you want at a
price you can afford.
Quality
If budget is not your top
consideration, then quality should be. When it comes to appliances,
whether they are major ones like refrigerators, or small ones like
espresso makers, you should probably opt for a well-known name brand.
Buying your appliance from a respected manufacturer gives you a little
assurance that it will be a dependable worthwhile purchase. Name brand
appliances usually come with warranties in case anything does go wrong.
You can still have quality on a budget if you select smaller versions of
the appliance. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a standard
espresso machine for example, you can buy a compact counter top version
for less than one hundred dollars.
Function
For some
appliances, their function is pretty obvious, like the refrigerator or
stove. Choosing a new major appliance is a matter of style as they all
have the same function. The small accessory appliances are another
matter however. These are not essential but they do help shorten your
cooking time and make things easier for you overall.
Some of
these supplemental kitchen appliance ideas include the food processor,
coffee maker, blender, indoor grill, juicer, toaster, and pressure
cooker. Today you can even buy an appliance that combines functions
which helps you save on space and clutter. These help make your cooking
time more efficient and saves on energy costs too. A good example of
this kind of multi-functional kitchen appliance is a multipurpose
microwave that heats food, cooks microwaveable meals, toasts, and bakes.
It has some features that work just like a convection oven. There is
also a breakfast maker appliance that works like a toaster, oven, fryer,
steamer, and coffee maker. A functional appliance like that can really
save you time preparing breakfast in the morning and leaves you with
less to clean up as well.
Some kitchen appliance ideas appeal to
families that have kids, like the home ice cream maker that makes soft
serve ice cream. You can make plenty of good after school snacks with a
sandwich grill, bread maker, deep fryer, or waffle maker.
Space Efficiency
Space
efficient appliances are important. They have become popular among
people with small kitchens as well as those who like the minimalist
stark look in their homes. Compact appliances that fit in small
countertop nooks have gained a lot of appeal. Manufacturers have met
this demand by creating a line of small appliances that you can find
online or at a home-furnishing store. For example, microwave ovens are
much smaller now, even the ones that can double as convection ovens.
Espresso machines and food processors have gotten much smaller as well.
In fact, you can find a small version of most countertop appliances.
Even refrigerators and ranges are being scaled down so they can hold a
large volume while taking up less space.

Should You Hang Onto Your Old Appliance Or Buy New
Sometimes we are torn whether to fix our favorite aged appliance that
has never seen a repair person or buy new. Here are a few questions to
ask yourself if you find yourself in this position.
Has your appliance been very reliable in the past?
If you have been lucky enough to have an appliance for over a decade before needing a repair, it may be wise to put some money into it to to keep it going. Many times the repair is inexpensive but remember, at some point, replacement parts for your appliance may become no longer available. Hopefully after a repair you won't have to worry for at least another decade. Consideration of the repairs cost should be taken into account. Generally, any repair that costs more than half the price of a new product is best avoided. For those costly repairs, the added savings of buying an energy efficient appliance will make more sense. It is wise to ask retailers, local utility companies and local governments about any recycling and energy efficient product rebates they may offer.
What is the overlooked cost of replacing an older appliance?
The true cost of replacing your appliance needs to be considered when comparing repair cost vs. replacement cost. Replacing your older appliance usually requires fees for installation, delivery and removal and disposal of your old appliances. So before you rush into junking your current appliance, ask yourself how much will it cost to remove the existing appliance, install the new appliance, and dispose of the old appliance. Paying over a hundred dollars to have an appliance installed is not unusual.
Are new appliances made of the same quality as my current appliance?
The quality of lower-end appliances today has degraded when compared to similarly priced machines 15 years ago. This is the result of manufacturers' loss of control of the quality of parts ordered from around the world. It seems as though they would like us to replace our appliances every few years. You can still buy high-quality appliances but the more bells and whistles they come with, the more there is that can go wrong. High-end appliances can cost a lot of money to fix because they use leading-edge technology such as smart circuit boards. Also. spending top dollar on an appliance no longer means more reliability; you are just as likely to require an appliance repair on an expensive top of the line model as you would a less expensive model. When it comes to major cooking appliances, Consumer Reports Magazine readers rated high-end brands such as Viking, Thermador, Dacor, and Jenn-Air as the least reliable.
So, although there are a lot of nice looking appliances out there with fancy extras such as a steam feature on a clothes washer. Your reliable old trusty washer may do you well if you just give it a second chance at life.

Do Your Homework When Buying Kitchen Appliances
If you are remodeling your kitchen, then chances are you are planning to
buy new kitchen appliances. These new appliances will accent the room
and fill the needs of the family. You can look at outlet stores as well
as appliance stores to find all the matching appliances in one area.
With all the different colors, sizes, manufacturers and types of kitchen
appliances needs, you have many selections to choose from when
shopping. This means you will have to do your homework and make your
selections well.
Major Appliances
The kitchen always needs a refrigerator and a range, and you want them to match each other. When looking for these major kitchen appliances, you have to decide between built-in and a freestanding model. Think about which refrigerator model suits your design better. The stove likewise could be a counter top stove with a built-in oven somewhere more convenient, or a freestanding traditional range with oven under a 4 or 6 burner cook top. Definitely go for a built-in stove if you want the convenience of two ovens.
The dishwasher and trash compactor are considered major kitchen appliances as well. You can have these match the refrigerator and stove for an overall unified color scheme. Both the compactor and the dishwasher fit under the counter top, however, they both come as freestanding models as well.
Kitchen Appliance Combination Packages
Shopping around for the best price from different manufacturers on individual appliances is a good idea, but when you buy a kitchen appliance combination package the value is usually much better. A combination package will include dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven and refrigerator. They will all match and be the same brand and style. This way the appliances will integrate very well into your new kitchen. This is the best deal when purchasing kitchen appliances, but be sure that the kitchen appliances that you are getting are quality, reliable products, and you aren't getting stuck with what is left in the warehouse.
Compare Kitchen Appliance Options
It is really worth the time and effort to compare kitchen appliance options. One of the most obvious reasons that you should take this time is because you will be able to get the best quality and price.
The first thing to check out is the quality. After all, if the product is poorly made then it really does not matter how much you are saving, because you will end up paying more when you have to make repeated repairs or buy the appliance again.
Do a brief background check on the manufacturer. See how long they have been in business, and research online whether they regularly have complaints. You can ask around among friends and coworkers for input as well.
Reading kitchen appliance reviews is the best place to start before making large investments. There are different types and sources of kitchen appliance reviews that will offer a big picture. Many sites offer expert kitchen appliance reviews, which look at most products from a technical point of view. They can provide insight to the potential for repairs needed, and how easy it is to find a service center, and what it will take to install and use the product.
Other sites provide reviews and opinions posted by users of the product. Consumer based appliance reviews are sometimes not completely objective, as people will interject their disappointment in the product into the review. For example, in looking at a review for a particular item, if the unit received great reviews on operation, ease of use, performing as promised, and the company's response to problems, then take with a grain of salt the reviewer who absolutely hates it. When looking at kitchen appliance reviews it pays to look at more than one website.
An important consideration in comparison shopping is the Energy Star rating. This gives you a rough idea how much the appliance will cost to run. Some kitchen appliances have many wonderful features that may use a lot more gas or electricity. Evaluate the cost of use with the price of the appliance. When looking at Energy Star ratings, be sure to compare apples to apples, that is, make sure the unit of measure you are comparing on two different units is the same.
Armed with your information on manufacturers and styles, the last step is to make a list of the different stores in your area that offer the particular kitchen appliance you are looking for. Compare the suggested retail prices given by the different stores, and take note of which is the lowest.
Kitchen Appliance Colors
In the 1960s the latest in kitchen appliance trends turned its back on classic white appliances, adding such colors as avocado and sunburst orange and yellow. These days the range of colors and textures for these appliances are endless. You have your choice of black, white, off-white, red, navy, stainless, and black glass. Not to mention expensive, custom color choices.

Appliance Handles - They Are the Key to Appliance Health
Where does a new fridge fit on your spring-cleaning schedule? We're not
talking about cleaning out that gunk that has been building up at the
bottom of the refrigerator since the last spring-cleaning. Nor are we
talking about scraping those melted, and burned beyond recognition,
pieces of pizza off the bottom of the oven. We're talking about making
sure your appliances are not only clean, but also in good working order.
Make your way around the kitchen and grab a hold of the handles on each appliance. While most people aren't too worried about appliance handles, the truth is, if these start to go, they could have negative repercussions on the rest of the appliance. Tug on the appliance handles to see if they feel firm in your hand. If there is a little wiggling happening in those appliance handles, you need to have them looked at and tightened.
It's also important to note that handles are not just a device to open your appliances, but a way to get a feel for the overall condition of your appliances. As your appliance handles start to have problems, this may be a sign that the same aging effect is starting to impact the rest of your appliances. So, once the appliance handles start to go, you should have the whole appliance unit looked at a little more carefully.
Generally, spring-cleaning is a time to go from cleaning those appliance handles to really checking out the working condition of your appliances. It is much better to see a problem coming in advance than having your oven or other appliance break down when you need it most. If there is a shorting issue in an appliance, that is a fire threat and something you definitely want to remove from your kitchen as soon as possible.
If your door handles problems show you there is a bigger issue facing one of your appliances, it's time to go shopping for a replacement appliance.
Before you go, you need to take a few measurements. Are you going to want the new appliance to fit into the space where the old one was? If so, you need to take a measurement of that space to get one that will fit. Also, keep in mind the décor and color scheme in your kitchen so you get a new appliance that matches the rest of this space.
Check the power source your old appliance was using and make sure the power source is the same as the new appliances you are looking for. Bigger appliances need a 220-volt outlet to plug into. If you are replacing a larger appliance, make sure that outlet is within reach of the new plug.
While you may have thought spring cleaning was just about cleaning, the cleaning of your appliance handles can lead to much more than just a little soap and water treatment. Paying attention to problems with appliance handles can key you in to larger problems that are plaguing your appliances, and save you major issues in the long run.

Small Appliances
When it comes to outfitting a kitchen, people tend to think about all of
the larger things; while they think about the larger appliances (such
as the fridge and oven), and the other large objects in the kitchen
(such as the counter tops and the cabinetry). The small appliances in
the kitchen are often as important as the other appliances. They are
used more often than the large appliances, and make up the look of the
counters and other various areas.
There are various types of small appliances that help to make up the kitchen. While most of these small appliances are actually counter top appliances, there are some small appliances that can be built into the kitchen. Microwaves are often built into the kitchen above the range.
There are other types of appliance that are known as small home appliances, however. Coffee makers are some of the most popular home kitchen appliances, as they are relied on for late night caffeine needs, as well as early morning caffeine needs. Blenders are also well known small appliances. People will use blenders to mix drinks and dressings, as well as for crushing ice and various other kitchen tasks.
One of the most well known brands for appliances in size is Cuisinart. Cuisinart is known for making quality appliances, especially in the small appliance market. Cuisinart makes a wide range of appliances, and they come in various price ranges to fit multiple households.
Another major company for home kitchen appliances, especially small appliances, is Kitchen Aid. Kitchen Aid appliances, also known by many as kitchen aide, are also known for having high quality
appliances. While the prices may be higher than other appliances, they are worth it to many.
Those who are looking for small appliances may simply pick the first appliance that they see, or choose an appliance based on looks. While this is great for those who simply do not care about what they are putting in there homes, this is not a smart idea for those who want to make sure that they have the best appliances possible.
The first thing that you should look for when looking for the smaller appliances for your home is the quality of the product. You want to look for products that seem to be made of sturdy material, and seem to have a strong build and make. This can be found out by inspecting the product, or simply researching/asking questions about the process.
After you have found quality products, you need to look out for the features of the products. If you are looking for a coffee maker, you need to look for the features of each coffee maker that matches your quality needs.
The next thing to look out for is the price of the product. Knowing the price of the products that you are looking for is the best way to narrow down your choices to those that are affordable. For some people, price is not a major issue. Those on a budget will want to know the price so that they can stick to their budget.
Trying to find the best small appliances for your kitchen may seem overwhelming, but the process can actually be easy. Those who are looking for small appliances need to make sure that they are covering all of their bases in their search. There are two major places to look; online, and in actual stores.

Class of Protection in Electrical Appliances
All electrical appliances using mains voltage have to provide at least 2
levels of protection to the user. This is to ensure that if one of the
protection layers were to fail, there is the back-up of the second layer
still in place. This makes electrical equipment very safe to use.
Appliances can be Class 1 or Class 2.
When PAT testing, it is important to first identify the Class of the appliance as Class 1 appliances are tested differently from Class 2 appliances.
Depending on how exactly the protection is provided, electrical appliance are put into 5 Classes of equipment construction which are Class 1, 2, 3, 0, 01. Of these the most important are Class 1 & 2. For completeness all the Classes are described below.
CLASS 1
Here the protection is provided by a combination of insulation and use of the mains Earth. It is best shown by referring to an electric fire that has been taken apart.
In the open plug the three wires connecting to the LIVE, NEUTRAL and EARTH pins. Inside the fire, the brown LIVE wire and the blue NEUTRAL wire connect to a plastic connector. The green/yellow Earth wire connects to the metal case of the fire.
The user is protected from electric shock by the plastic insulation of the connector. This holds the LIVE and NEUTRAL wires in place and prevents them from touching the metal case of this electric fire. This plastic insulation of the connector is known as basic insulation.
If this basic insulation were to fail, say due to excessive movement of the cable where it touches the metal case then the user of the fire can receive an electric shock if not for the fact that the EARTH wire is present.
By connecting to the metal case of the electric fire, the EARTH wire keeps all this metal at EARTH potential. What this means is that it is impossible to get an electric shock even when the metal case of the fire is connected directly to the LIVE voltage. In practice a fuse would blow either in the plug or the main fuse box to protect the user.
In summary, in Class 1 appliances the user is protected by a combination of basic insulation and the provision of an EARTH connection, thus providing two levels of protection.
When PAT Testing Class 1 appliances, the Earth Continuity and Insulation Resistance tests are carried out.
CLASS 2
In a Class 2 appliance, the user is protected by at least two layers of insulation. For this reason, Class 2 appliances are also known as Double Insulated. They do not require an Earth connection.
This is best shown by looking inside a Class 2 electric drill which has been opened up. Inside one can see that as well as the plastic connector providing basic insulation, there is additional insulation provided by the plastic enclosure of the drill.
The user is therefore protected by two separate layers of insulation. When PAT testing Class 2 appliances, just the Insulation Resistance test is carried out.
Class 2 appliances are always indicated by the double box symbol on the rating plate.
CLASS 3
Equipment built to Class 3 standard are designed to be supplied from a special safety isolating transformer whose output is known as Safety Extra-Low Voltage or SELV. This must not exceed 50 V AC and is normally is below 24V or 12V. All Class 3 appliances are marked by a special symbol. There is no use of an Earth in Class III appliance
The electrical safety of Class 3 appliances are taken care of in the safety isolating transformer design where the separation between the windings is equivalent to double insulation. The transformer is marked as being suitable for use with Class III appliances.
CLASS 0 & 01
This type of equipment is not for normal use in business or residential environments. It is just presented here for completeness.
Class 0 appliances depend only on basic insulation for protection from electric shock. For this reason, they do not have 2 levels of protection built in and are not allowed for sale. The brass lamp shown here is an example of a two wire, metal cased appliance with only basic insulation. There is no provision for connection of an earth to the bulb holder.
In Class 01 appliances, there is provision for an Earth connection, but it is wired with either twin core cable or only has a 2-pin plug, so an Earth cannot be connected. AS in Class 0 equipment, one is dependent only on basic insulation for protection from electric shock. As they only have 1 level of protection, Class 01 appliances are not allowed for sale.
If during PAT testing one comes across a Class 0 or Class 01 appliance these can be failed.
IDENTIFYING CLASS I & CLASS II APPLIANCE
As the PAT testing carried on Class 1 and Class 2 appliances differ, it is important to identify one from the other. There is no other area of PAT testing that causes more confusion than this and there are many myths surrounding this. It will be informative to list some of these.
If there is a fuse in the plug, then it must be Class 1.
It is made of metal so it must be Class 1
The case is plastic so it must be Class 2
It has a three core cable so it must be Class 1
The plug has a metal Earth pin so it must be Class 1
None of the above statements is a fool-proof way to identify Class I and Class II appliances and some are quite misleading.
The easiest rule to apply is the one below.
If the rating plate has a double box then the appliance is Class 2. If it does not then it is Class 1.
Example - Kettle
The rating plate on this kettle clearly has no "double-box" symbol, so using our rule, it must be Class 1. The Earth connection from the plug is terminated on the outside metal casing of the heating element. When PAT testing this kettle the Earth Continuity and Insulation Resistance test has to be carried out.
Example - Plug-top power supply
The rating plate on this Plug-top transformer clearly shows the "double box" symbol, so this is a Class 2 appliance. Note that it has a plastic Earth pin, as this is not required for Class II. (Not all Class 2 appliances have a plastic earth pin). Just the Insulation Resistance test has to be carried out during PAT testing.
Example - Mains extension
The rating plate on this extension is moulded in the plastic. It clearly does not have a "double-box" symbol, so it must be a Class 1. When PAT testing this extension lead the Earth Continuity and Insulation Resistance test has to be carried out.
Example - Table lamp
The rating plate on this table lamp clearly shows the "double-box" so it is a Class 2 appliance. (Note that this is a Class 2 appliance that is largely in a metal enclosure). The bulb holder is made of plastic and provides the required double insulation. Just the Insulation Resistance test has to be carried out during PAT testing.
Example - Desk fan
The rating plate for this fan not only does not have a "double-box" symbol, it also says that the appliance must be earthed. So this is clearly a Class 1 appliance. Note that it does not have any user accessible metal.
Example - Metal Lamp
If this metal lamp had a rating plate, then it would be a Class 1 appliance as it has an earth point on the lamp holder. However, as the rating plate is missing, this would have to be failed.
Are Class 1 and Class 2 appliances just as safe?
As both have 2 levels of protection built in, they are both safe for general use.
However with Class 1 an appliance, one of the layers of safety is provided by the earth connection. For this to be effective, the wiring in the building has to be inspected regularly to check that the Earth in the mains socket is correctly taken to the local earth potential. This is usually picked off the Earth sheathing of the mains cable coming into the premises, or by driving a local stake into the ground. So Class 1 appliances depend on the external wiring in the building to fully provide the 2 levels of protection.
Class 2 appliances however always provide 2 levels of protection irrespective of the status of the wiring installation. Both layers of protection are built into the design making Class 2 appliances are a lot safer than Class 1 appliances.

Why Do Electricians in the UK Provide Portable Appliance Testing Services?
Which Items Need To Be PAT Tested?
Your electrician will attempt to provide guidance on what electrical equipment constitutes a 'portable appliance'. This may include:
Electrical appliances that can be held in your hands and are at the same time connected to the electrical supply.
Electrical appliances that the customer may move while they are also connected to the electrical supply.
Electrical appliances the customer may move with a good degree of ease while connected to the electricity supply.
Your electrician will explain that while it is common for PAT testing to be completed on electrical equipment that is connected to the electrical supply via a socket, this is not the only specification of a portable appliance.
The IEE Regulations
The electrician will discuss the IEE regulations with you and specifically the code of practice suggests guidelines for the definition of a portable appliances. An electrical appliance is categorised as weighing less than 18kg and in turn can be moved in operation. Your electrician will confirm that essentially anything with a plug is classified as a portable appliance and therefore a PAT test is required. The electrician will perform PAT Testing on computers, AC adapters, vacuums, toasters, printers and also large items like amusement arcade machines.
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation (NICEIC), of which many electricians are members, describes a portable appliance as 'any electrical item which can be moved or the person intends to move the appliance while it is connected to the electrical supply.'
Portable Appliance Testing is Provided by Electricians for Health and Safety Reasons
A large number of electrical accidents in the workplace are caused by portable appliances as your electrician will confirm with you. In fact 25% of all electrical accidents in work environments involve portable appliances, but this can be reduced by PAT Testing from a qualified electrician. Legally it is the responsibility of the employer and their employees to make sure that appropriate measures are put in place to prevent hazards in work related situations. Advice from a qualified electrician in the safe management of portable appliances is necessary.
Electricians will confirm the relevant legislation that is applicable to PAT Testing to ensure electrical safety within the workplace. The following legislation documents require compliance from electricians:
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992
Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999
Given the level of legislative guidance on the subject, regular inspections and testing procedures by electricians need to be put in place for electrical equipment in commercial premises and let properties. There are specific guidelines in the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) for the purpose of portable electrical testing, which highlight the following incumbent parts:
Where electrical appliances are used by employees
Where the general public use appliances, for example schools, retail outlets, hotels etc.
Where electrical appliances are supplied or hired by the general public or businesses.
Where electrical appliances are repaired or serviced for continual use.
If the electrician does not pass the PAT test in the initial inspection, no appliance can then be passed as safe to use.
The electrician will commence an initial visual inspection of the plug, lead and protective casing of the appliance. The electricians will specifically assess the plug top to make sure it has the correct fuse, cord grip, has a sufficiently balanced polarity and the terminations are tight. The electrician will look for cracking or specific heat damage and will ensure the plug has insulating pins conforming to the BS standards.
The casing of the electrical appliance is fully examined by the electrician who will look for visible damage. The radius of the holes located in the casing must not be more than 6mm and no live incumbent parts should be noticeable within 80mm of the opening.
The Health & Safety Executive provides advice on appropriate health and safety measures of which all electricians will be aware of. The frequency of the electrical testing and related inspections of portable appliances is not set in stone, but companies have a duty of care to the health and safety of all the people who come into contact with the appliances. The periods of inspection for portable appliance testing are often down to a combination of common sense and through adequate information from electricians. There are several environmental considerations to take into account including:
The environment where the electrical appliance is being operated. If the appliance is more exposed to general wear and tear, then it may need to be tested more regularly by an electrician?
In an ideal situation if damage occurs, the electrical appliance will be in a better condition and is not hazardous to users.
The structure of the equipment itself and whether the electrical appliance is damaged or worn out?
As your electrician will confirm the type of equipment can impact on how well it wears? Certain hand held electrical appliances often get damaged more easily.

Taking it to an Appliance Service
Everyday most of us use appliances since it is already considered a
necessity at home. Appliances may be built to perform on a specific
function it is made of, but breaking down in the long run is unavoidable
especially if it is over used or misused.
When they malfunction or break down and you do not have any idea of what is wrong and how to fix them, what you can do is make use of an appliance service that is available in your area. Hiring a professional appliance repairman may not totally save you from spending money but least it could save you time and save you from more trouble.
Though, if you are one of those people who are familiar with equipment circuits or whatever it is in the black box, you may want to use your screwdriver and open it. All you have to do is trust a manual for troubleshooting your appliance.
The thing is, if you are familiar with the electrical systems, then you can do the work. But if you are one of those who has no idea of what to do with your appliance, this article could help you and make you understand why it is best to take into an appliance service repair.
The Basics
Almost all of the appliances nowadays is operated using Alternating Current from the circuit wiring in your home. Irons or electric curling iron are examples of small appliances that work on 110 to 120 volts, while Whirlpool washing machines is an example of a major appliance that works on 220-240 volts. Usually, a small appliance has a two-blade cord while a major appliance has a two-blade cord with a prong.
There are manufacturers that sometimes produce appliances that can be connected within 110 to 240 volts. Most of the appliance plugs are marked in the metal plate or on its casing that details the power requirements in watts, volts or amps that should be read before plugging the appliance in the sockets.
Small appliances are uncomplicated machines that can be repaired easily if they get broken as compared to major appliances that are very much complicated. Television black out is an example of a major appliance problem, the malfunction is not really evident; the problem would be either in the control device or in the mechanical device.
Buying an appliance in the mall would always include a manual and a sheet for basic troubleshooting. However, if the troubleshooting is critical for you to deal with, many appliance companies would require you to bring the appliance to an authorized appliance service centers or to an independent appliance service repair.
